Mitchell & Dickinson's co-founder is recognised as a global climate champion

Our co-founder Paul Dickinson has been listed in TIME magazine’s 100 Most Influential Climate Leaders in Business.

The list compiled by the influential American news magazine celebrates leaders who are driving positive action on climate change by creating business value. The list acknowledges that while scientists and activists are good at identifying and amplifying the issues, it’s ultimately business leaders who are best placed to take action and drive solutions at scale.

Paul Dickinson

Paul was recognised by TIME for his work as founder and executive chair of the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP), a not-for-profit which encourages corporate transparency on climate and environmental impact. CDP works with 90% of FTSE 100 companies and supports thousands of companies, cities, states and regions to measure and manage their risks and opportunities on climate change, water security and deforestation.

In an interview for TIME Paul urged governments to do more to reduce carbon emissions: ‘We urgently need to tax aircraft and ship fuels … Like cigarettes, we should ban the advertising of high-carbon products. Whichever countries move fastest to decarbonise will gain leadership in industries of the future. Above all, we must stop fossil-fuel money controlling politics in democracies.’

We congratulate Paul for his inclusion on the list and for being at the forefront of the global conversation on climate action. He is a true sustainability trailblazer.
